- DEMO POLICY -

Backscatter is always accepting demos from new projects for compilations and individual release. We are looking for mainly electronic music, but will consider hybrids and other possibilities. Acceptable formats are; CD, Minidisc, Cassette Tape, DVD, VHS, in audio or data form. You may send us a link to some of your music, but PLEASE DO NOT EMAIL ANY AUDIO FILES TO US! Also include pictures and other interesting information about your project, give us a reason… Please write your e-mail address on every separate piece of material you send [in case of separation]. You will receive an e-mail confirmation when we receive your demo. Please do not email to inquire if we have listened to/liked your demo, we listen to every demo we receive. If we feel we can work with your music on a compilation or as a full release, we will contact you via email. If you have not heard back from us within 1 [one] months time, consider our silence a “NO.” We do not return any material that is sent to us, so please don’t send anything that is considered irreplaceable. Backscatter works very closely with its partner and brother-label, Dungeon Recordings on many releases. Both labels work together on the many different aspects of individual releases, compilations featuring various artists as well as special limited edition rarities. Both Xon & K.J. Cazier have been producing electronic music for over a decade and have also collaborated on many other projects together such as live shows, media creation, scene promotion and label/studio endeavors of many varieties. Besides doing remixes and collaborations with each other, including a new side-project named "Stygian," Backscatter and Dungeon Recordings have co-produced and/or co-released the following titles:
